Research Group on Cellular and Organic Physiopathology of Oxidative Stress

Metabolism and Organic Damage Area


Our group focuses its objectives on improving the quality of life of patients with rare diseases through the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic methods. To this end, we study the pathophysiology of various rare diseases, especially those that present with alterations in epigenetic regulation or experience oxidative stress. The group is currently financed by various aids from the Health Research Fund, the Marató and aid from the Generalitat Valenciana. We collaborate with various pharmaceutical laboratories and develop extensive training activities. More than 25 doctoral theses have been developed within the group.
