Personalised Medicine and Advanced Therapies
Objectives
- To advance precision medicine through the development of diagnostic, prognostic and predictive biomarkers (including omic signatures).
- To apply emerging predictive and mechanistic models such as organoids and 3D bioprinting, as well as innovative gene-editing technologies (CRISPR/Cas), to the development of advanced therapies.
- To promote the translation of basic advances into clinical practice, personalising treatments, optimising doses, avoiding toxicities and reducing adverse effects.
