Presentación

El Dr. José Luis García Giménez, es investigador post-doctoral del CIBER-ISCIII. Su investigación está dirigida a la comprensión e identificación de mecanismos epigenéticos que producen la variabilidad fenotípica en distintas enfermedades humanas.

Ha publicado más de 80 artículos en el campo del estrés oxidativo, las enfermedades raras y los biomarcadores epigéneticos. Es inventor de cuatro familias de patentes con extensión internacional estando una de ellas transferida a la industria.

El Dr. José Luis García Giménez fue fundador de EpiDisease S.L. la primera Spin-Off del CIBER y del ISCIII que desarrolla y comercializa test de diagnóstico IVD basados en biomarcadores epigenéticos.
